Bold and styish, the Chanteuse will have you singing from the rooftops! This dress is flattering on all shapes can be worn with a belt for those who love more structure, or without for a looser fit. The sleeves are long with elastication to allow the wearer to choose where they sit.

Made with a lightweight cotton linen blend, it has the look and feel of linen, with the added robustness of cotton. The weave and weight of the fabric means it has some transparency, so we recommend wearing nude underwear or a petticoat underneath.

About the fabric

Our organic cotton linen blend is light weight and soft, while also durable. When first purchased this fabric will feel stiff, however it softens with every wear (just like linen does). With this fabric comes the benefits of both – the softness of cotton, with the structure of linen. This ligher weight, breathable fabric make it a perfect choice for wearing in warmer weather.

This cotton-based fabric is sourced from a Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified mill in India, which guarantees the ethical status of the product. This includes the growing and harvesting of raw organic cotton, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing and printing practices, and fair pay and working conditions for employees. The farming and harvesting of the linen component of this fabric does not hold a GOTS certification (however the manufacturing and printing stages that are completed at our mill do).

Care

Cool gentle machine wash and line dry inside out. Wash with like colours. Do not tumble dry or dry clean.

Warm iron inside out.
